I'm not just talking about gameplay, graphiics, etc. There's also the presentation of the game (the website or the topic), the size, format, everything.

This is my attempt at a discussion topic, so try and do that. say why a game should have this, if you don't agree with one that someone else mentioned, say why also.

Well, Sparky and (mostly) I have been working on a project, called FoxFire. It's very far from being done, and activity around here has been below "living forum," so any interest shown in it would be appreciated.

I need NPCs, ideas, etc. So, feel free to go nuts. It is in 7.0 and, not currently but could become, pro. Of course, help is appreciated and will go into the credits.

So little of it is done, I think explaining it will be better than posting a link to download. Gee ...

Well, here are some screensavers i made.

They were made with gm7 lite (no, is till don't have pro).

There's a description of each in the readme (you'll find the tunnel and particle wave in there.

These are the result of my "doodling", and as such, the coding has very little/no commenting, and can be a little messy.

They work though, so all you have to do is create an executable with the ".scr" extention.

Well, until i buy a router, i don't have internet on my computer. I was wondering if anyone knows some good programs for:

Downloading whole websites for offline viewing.

Downloading flash movies and games (not realplayer, from my experience, it's nothing but trouble)

Downloading java games, i'm not sure if there are any, but if you know one, that'd be cool

I'm on a tight budget, so these programs would have to be either free (greatly preferable) or have a free demo.

Easy way to make hi-res graphics

I'm definitely not the first to think of this, but it worked out pretty good for me and i thought i'd tell you all about it.

IT'S actually simple, first i drew a ship on a normal piece of real paper (that's right, in the real world!),

then i took a picture of it with my builtin webcam. The result? a blurry digital jpeg version of my drawing.

I then took it to paint, where i set the line width to a decent width (3, in this case) and using the curved line tool (very important, not straght ...

Are any of you going to buy the DSi that was announced yesterday? I'm probably not seeing as there isnt much new features and we already have the DS and DSLite.

If you dont know much about the DSi, it's a new DS that has larger screens, a SD Card slot, two cameras and AAC Music playback.

Ok I was making a game a couple years back when I was new to Game Maker called Quack 'n Splat, it wasn't that good but I finished it. A few years later I started remaking it, but I didn't finish it because it got boring. But now, a few weeks ago I started remaking it again from the ground up and have made good progress!

Well, if you didn't hear, today the world's biggest atom smasher was fired up. Located under Switzerland, this 17mile long circle fired atoms near the speed of light to 'simulate' a mini big bang. There was a lot of controversy concerning it, because some believed that, upon starting it up, that it would create a black hole (or something) that would destroy the whole of the Earth in weeks to months. Obviously, that didn't happen. Hoorays.

Is anyone else excited to hear that The 3rd Birthday is coming out for the PSP? I personally am very excited for the game. I love the Parasite Eve series, the book, the movie, and the games! This game is however somewhat of a spin-off, it's still about Aya but it won't have anything to do with Eve (hence why it isn't called Parasite Eve 3)

I wonder why she's in a wedding dress in that picture? (I know that she's obviously getting married, but to who?)

Hm... I'm having some data streaming problems.

It'll keep creating ghost shots. I know the problem (somewhere it's sending messages 4 and/or 6 repeatedly), but i don't know where for sure. I think it's somewhere in the control object.

Well, our technicians (me) have been working hard the past hour or so, and got some fun new things for you! The most noticeable thing (the rest are actually pretty much invisible to you guys) is the Google Translator in the portal. That's right, you can now look at the forum for many different languages! Yes, you can use one of the internet's many essentially flawed translators to look at the forum in a language you don't even know! Isn't that just exciting?

Well originally I was going to make this for WiiWare... but apparently you need to have made games that have sold already and have extensive experience (which I found from google) so I decided to make it for PC instead (if you have bluetooth, something that emits IR and a wiimote, it's like playing wiiware anyway)
